End of the Year Teacher Gifts 2010

As stated in the previous post, This is the end of Brooklyn's first grade year teacher gift...

I know this seems so lazy and not very special to get pencils (whoo hoo) as a thank you, but I was thinking simple this year. I hope Mrs. Gerjets likes her "pencil holder, candy holder, vase, or anything else she could do with it present" I really liked her as Brooklyn's teacher. I admire the patience that teachers have in general, but she is just the sweetest 1st grade teacher ever. Brooklyn just loved her, and learned so much from her. It's amazing how we have lucked out with fantastic teachers for her.

Teacher Appreciation 2010

I always wonder why Teacher Appreciation Day is so close to the end of the school year. Are we suppose to give them a little gift for Appreciation day AND end of year thank yous? How can I not. I get so many cute ideas from all these blogs I visit, I want to make them all. However, this year, being 8 1/2 months pregnant, I started making the gifts early so it would be last minute right as baby is due and school is out.

I made these adorable post it note holders for Brooklyn's teacher and reading teacher at school, as well as Gavin's pre-school teachers. I thought they were simple and cute ideas made from a clear picture frame. I personalized it for each teacher. I was going to give a matching pen with each of them, but I totally forgot to make them (Pregnancy brain).

End of the Year Teacher Gifts 2009

Brooklyn really enjoyed Kindergarten last year. I'm finally getting around posting about the gifts we gave her teacher (s).

The bag they were all delivered in:

The student helper in her class received these chalkboard coasters.

Her teacher, Mrs. Carstens, loves camping, so we put a s'mores gift pack together for her:

Her spelling teacher received this clipboard:

M&M Birthday Cake

I made a cake of M&M's and Whoppers for a friends birthday. It's her favorite candy. Look how simple and easy it looks. She loved it and appreciated the thought of it.

Easter Crafts

Brooklyn is having a little play group over tomorrow and I wanted to have a little Easter Craft ready for them. I made these little baskets, Name Plates & Napkin Rings for the kids (and more for our Easter dinner on Sunday too).

YW Values

This is totally not my idea. I got this adorable idea from the SugarDoodle.com website. One of the girls designed pages like these, and I made my own with a little twist on all of them. For the YW Bulletin Board.
